Hi All
We are going up to Teewah Beach tomorrow for the Long Weekend,
we usually
camp on
the beach normally, but the
Cook is concerned
about leaving the van when we go fishing ect, there is so much
stuff getting knocked off all the time, you here stories from people
who have had gear stolen, in broad day light, so any way we are
staying at the Northshore
Camp Ground at the resort complex.
if any of you lot are up that way, call in and say gday.
Cheers
Daza

I would-nt mind having the Labour Day weekend in October, its
good to spread the Public Holidays over the whole year, rather than
group them in the first half of the year, next month is the Queens
Birthday on Monday the 9th June. WA Sandgropers miss out.
Cheers

Hi there Daza...
I happen to have the same Navara as you.....(2005 28k)
Can you let me know what speed you tow at and if you just leave it in fourth gear?
I tow a heavy 18 ft boat and average 85/90......(less fuel if I just sit on 80)
In the near futrue we will be buying a van (17-18ft) poptop and have decided that semi retirement sounds good....
cheers Paul...
(ps love the extended weekends)
