goodday guys and girls
BIL has had installed on his 3l nissan a unit called a turbo saver
it is a fan fitted to the top of the cooling unit for his turbo it pumps a lot more cool air through the turbo at about 30degrees c instead of about 70degrees c it starts as soon as the ignition is turned on and with the bonnet closed you can feel a lot of extra air being moved into the air cooler

it was recomended by his mechanic

I think his mechanic should sell ice to the Eskimos.

It won't save the turbo but will force cool air through the intercooler maybe helping in performance.

maybe the mechanic should not call it a turbo saver but a intercooler fan.
