Recently I put a post on here offering a kid (or group off kids) my climbing gear free of charge as long as a parent was present to pick it up.

This stuff isn't cheap for youth clubs to buy.

There has to be some community minded fellas out there who would take a bit of time out to pick it up, and give a kid a good time in the bush.

Regards

Kim

Kim,

Perhaps contact the Scouts, they were only too happy to take an old Tent off my hands recently.

Jim

I'd prefer a fella or a gal to knock on the door. At least I'd know they'd taken a bit of time out of their day to motivate the kids.

PS I'll give you a call next month

Hey Kim,
It seems like people are so tied up in day to day crap that they have forgotten what life is all about.
The day I left the rat race and got back to living was a fantastic day for me.
Very kind of you to offer that. It's good to see there are still people who care out there.

Cheers & Happy Travels
Jason

I guess that's one of the 'lessons of life'. You can only offer - you can't make people take you up on it. Perhaps some parents are a bit dubious in allowing their kids to become too physically involved in activities. They might get hurt - or something.
