Steve
towing a camper trailer, is it better to go by road or get the ferry at
Tewantin and go up
the beach? Not been up there for years and thought there was a tricky bit up near
Rainbow

Yep, what he said.
Plus mind your tides.
The beach disappears really quickly with the current amount of erosion,
mine you its very flat and good going with the tide out, there's not much of an incline so the water comes in fairly quickly.
Most of the rocks on Fraser needed the chicken track a couple of months ago even at low tide.
Enjoy the trip at least the bloody march flys should have buggered off by now.

was up there weekend just gone can go to
rainbow via leisha track at low tide and around to
rainbow at the moment, must be low tide to get around the trees
rainbow beach end is fine with sand over the rocks. road is always easy as
well, but i like
the beach, you can keep the concrete jungle all to yaselves :)
