Looking at MAXXIS tyres for our Pajero.
Used mostly for the black stuff 80% and 20% off road.
Are these tyres any good I know there prices are pretty low
Any feed back would be great

Same thing on the Disco.
At 20000km there is some even wear evident and they are a bit noisier on the blacktop.
Otherwise going
well.

well...only had probs if on rocks and it was wet.....
very
well worth the money.....

Must agree with above. Have them fitted to Prado, adn providing good wear for on and off road. I don't do extreme offorad (Prado is weekly commuter), and haven't come up against anything that has caused a problem.
Used mostly on road, sand, gravel and bush tracks.
Great price, great wear - would certainly recommend them.

HI
I have 751s on my Series 80 and have just past 70K on them. Will probably replace in about 5Ks time. I have found them to be an excellent tyre. Have only done a little off road stuff and mainly sand.
Cheers
Howard.

Have them on my Patrol and have had no problems. Have already outworn the Dunlops I had stupidly put on before.

I have them on the Paj. he are slightly noisier on the black top than the Kuhmo's they replaced.
I staked one through the centre of the tread when it was only 500 km old but would still buy them again - at $119 a corner they were a good buy.

Wow.
This has to be the first tyre post where all
feedback on a particular type of tyre has been positive!! And, it's a tyre that many purists wouldn't give the time of day to. (coopers this, bfg that...)
As for Maxxis tyre, the 751's are a bit noisier on bitumen as they wear, but concur with what's already been said. Also had this brand on a std car, and could not fault them.
For the $'s you pay, can't go wrong - no need to pay an extra $100 a tyre for cooper/bfg marketing

Have 751s on a 97 Nl Pajero. Have been very pleased with them.
Had Coopers prior to this. Both on and off road they seemed to be just as good as the Coopers. At around a $100 a tyre cheaper than the Coopers they were worth it. As for road noise I dont think they are any worse.
