Well it's just like old friends here isnt it? my appologies for not being around, it was secret mens busniness all started around ANZAC Day.... Lets just say that all the casual skirt and even the indentured skirt can wander freely without fear of yours trully desiring to thrust his wanton desire on them...
On the homefront Sybil & I are still in extasy over the loss of our son. He moved out yesterday, he was only 35...Sybil has already cleaned his room and made it in to her "Palaise de quilt"...
I have a new Doctor, I can't tell you his name but I can tell you his Grandfather designed the Sydney Harbour bridge and also Sydneys first electric trains (you all thought they were made by Triang didn't you????0 Most importantly this guy speaks clear and comprhensible english.
His biggest challenge is that he thinks little Basil could get back to his old ways via a Caverjet shot but big Basil says he is not that desperate... Women of Australia you can all relax...
So what has been happening? can anyone give me a brief synopsis?

Hello Mr Fawlty....sorry to hear about your son....how did you do it...was it dynamite, the threat of higher board or the demand to clean up his room...or that he had to do the dishes?????

We have been having fun here....now that you're back I guess we will have to behave...wot wot.

None of the above Philip.... We were having afternoon tea, son waltzes in and says he has some news, do we have a few minutes....Then out pours the tale about some place at Bungendore is up for grabs, pools, spa, 22 acres....room for a pony....BUT he would need to borrow my car and trailer, it was the only time I handed the keys over enthusiastically....It cost me a tank of Diesel but well worth it....

Hay Fawlty! (I was hoping you'd been repaired by now?)

On the subject of evicting one's young... perhaps you could give me some hints? Albeit mine (final one thank God! :) is ten years younger than yours but he's clinging on for dear life - the little love.

I had to Google "Caverjet" (I'm thankful to say! :) Hell... it's been so long even I'm thinking of giving up on women!

>So what has been happening? can anyone give me a brief synopsis?

Yes, could do... but won't. (To quote Python :)

Good to see you back Fawlty.

Mike Harding

PS. How did your replacement GPS thingie go?

"perhaps you could give me some hints?"
Simple Mike. Just split the rates, power, gas, water, phone & grocery bills by 3. At some point in their life they need to learn about the cost of living. He'll no doubt get the general idea then ;-))
Cheers Craig............

It would be split by two Craig - I suspect it would bankrupt the little dear :)

What is it with kids today!? I left home at 17 (well sort of 12 really, but that's another story) and had travelled the world by the time I was 22!

Ah... the joys of parenting - but I wouldn't have missed it for the world :)

Yeah Mike, So did I _left home by 16_ and come over to Australia when I was 20. But must say everything was different then. It was lot safer for us youngsters. Drugs are everywhere now and people _as you know_will do anything to get it, so we _parents_ are more tolerable in order to keep our kids safe, and therefore why should they leave when things are fantastic at home... But as you said it - Wouldn't missed it for the world:

Regards
dedabato

Please go on with the hints, tips and outright threats made by yourselves in order to hasten the departure dates of the younger generation....
Ok so I've got at least 7 years before I'm planning on kicking the first out and selling up but any ideas on how to facilitate their depature at a time of my choosing would be greatly appriciated.

Well Harding My replacement GPS thingy works a real treat, I'm impressed for what I got for the price. Alas next Week there will be a GPS Navigartor in every specially market packet...
I thought you would be on Sebaticaql in the Victorian High Coountry with your MIO and 5 copies of War & peace for company.....
Yes Caverjet... the Caver part works well, it's the jet bit thats a fizzer...not to mention the "mild discomfort" during instalation...
