G'day all, I have just purchased a 1989 Aussie Swag Outback-Offroad camper trailer and am interested in fitting some device eg. gas struts to assist in opening and closing. Manufacturer says the trailer has to be modified to do this. Has anyone had any experience in fitting these or any other type of device?

Strut-re-gas is a company that deals with this issue, when I fitted struts I went to their branch in
Cairns and they can offer the expert advice and the product. They have branches elsewhere, may pay to get help from people that do this all the time. Regards Tony
