Hi all! Just
home after a 3 week trip which included a trip along the
Walkers Crossing track a day or two after it recently reopened. We were travelling as a group of 3 vehicles, one of which was a WWII Jeep - some of you who were out that way may have seen it! On Tuesday 8th, somewhere between
Innamincka & the
Birdsville Track end of
Walkers Crossing, a camera tripod was lost from the Jeep. The owner was most upset about its disappearance as it was a treasured present. If anybody has any information regarding its current whereabouts it would be greatly appreciated.
Apart from that a great time was had by all, with visits to
White Cliffs,
Tibooburra, Camerons Corner,
Innamincka,
Coongie Lake, Mungerannie, Poepells Corner, Madigan
Camp 16, Big Red,
Birdsville,
Haddon Corner, Noccundra, and
Hungerford.
