This may make me look a bit simple but can be a warning to others. Had LPG fitted a number of years back and long range tank put under one side for fuel. ( dosn't matter what 4x4 ,as that will limit all the tossers from saying never happen to my Tojo , opps.)
Well we went to Frazer for a week so i removed rear seats and replaced floor bolts to seal holes. You got it , one whent through top of fuel sender. Didn't show until i filled up at Kingfisher, fuel was bleep en every where . Not easy fixing i assure you. I'm living in London now, 2 years, and look at this site every week to keep sane . You know what i miss most? The smell of gum trees.

Peter, one day soon we will be able to scan smells and email them. Until then, you better come back for a trip.

Peter, I’ve been in your position, I’m back now and have my 4bie, and I feel absolutely bloody fantastic. I too used to religiously read this
forum when I was in the UK (for 7 years). It’s a great place, but you know what I really used to hate. I’d think – I’ll go to Snowdonia or The Lakes or Scotland for the weekend and climb a mountain get out into the countryside. It all seemed great until you get to the top of that mountain and you think it’s all yours just for a minute and then you see the 500 other people who had the same idea as you and it’s all spoiled – what was the point when I just wanted to get away from people for a day.
Hurry
home mate, there’s no crowds here.

Peter you only have to look at all the old pommies living here in Oz to realise the error of your ways. Come
home mate.

Just came back myself after living in London for a while- didn't tell anyone about the 4wd scene here - chuck the gear in, fill up, go and then be sitting around the fire in the bush with a few mates
miles from anyone- it's truly unbelievable when you see how so many others are living in other parts- hope it doesn't change for a while- TonyT
