OK, today I gotta get the gearbox out of the L300. The nut on the 5th and reverse came off luckily at very low speed. Have been on to all my Mitsu smart mates as to the best procedure. Couldn't find any pics on the net of the nasty nut problem so will document with some pics and upload to my server.

You guys have been great on this forum and although no full bottle on 4WD I can help anyone with website/net/pc problems as that is my area of expertise. I run 17 websites and have my own server in canada. Lots of room there for gearbox pics. :):):)

Hi Diamond, convert your mp3 files & burn them on cda format using a program like EasyCD Creator will do the trick for you. This program will automatically convert them as it is burning them onto a cd using the music cd part of the program. Make sure you finalise the cd after burning the last track otherwise it will not play. Cheers.Have Wheels Will Travel

Yep nero should handle it fine. Most car CD players wont handle mp3 and is good to look for that when buying...can fit near 10 albums on one cd so with a cd stacker the music will still be playing long after the 4by has died :)

Well it wasn't the nut at all. The lever pin had come adrift but not quite fallen out. The previous ovner must have had the nut strife before as all nuts had been peined over already.

What a drama for a tiny pin! Hope to get it all back together tomorrow.
