I'm having a bit of trouble with brakes and clutch pedal pressure, and have a feeling it could be low
vacuum.
Does anyone know what the
vacuum should be at the pump?

If your motor is going, then you should have enuf
vacuum.
The first thing I would do , would be checking the hoses for splits.
you should be able to hook up a
vacuum guage, to practically anywhere on the inlet manifold, and do a rough
check
Sounds like a perished, or blocked hose !

Just had a look in my manual, and I cannot find anything. But it is only 4:30 am.
Something else I would be looking for.... make sure that your inlet gasket is not cracked, or you have a bolt missing, somewhere. as this will cause dramas. In saying that, is there a performance drop ?
Cheers

Thanks Bucky, I found the problem. It is a leaking clutch booster. There is 26lb
vacuum at the pump, which is fine for this elevation.
