Fridge max amp draw

Does anyone know for real how much current a Liemack DT50 draws upon startup?

JR,
I don't know the exact model but a mate of mine had a 55 litre Liemack car fridge. It had a 50 litres compartment at the top and 5 litres at the bottom. We took it with us on a few trips to Coopers Creek in my 4wd. I was advised by Liemack to use a 45 A fuse and heavy wiring. It was one of the older ones which didn't have a soft start. I don't know what the current was in the first few milliseconds but I believe it is very high. (It has an inverter in it). After that it drew about 10 to 12 Amps for a few minutes and then settled down to 7 to 8 Amps. It was a good fridge and cooled down very quickly but it was hard on the batteries.

The original Liemack 50 Lt fridge was extremely power hungry at start-up, the numbers quoted above are close enough to be called accurate.
