Hi there

If anybody would like to be involved in this year's Australian Safari (Australian version of the Dakar), but doesn't want to compete, we are needing officials to help out.

Send us an email, or register your interest on the Safari web site http://www.australiansafari.com.au/2009/Officials.html

We are also looking for officials to help out on a mini Safari that is being run the Anzac weekend, out of Southern Cross, WA

Yep signed up last month. Been asked to be involved in the last 2 but work commitments and short notice got in the way.

All going to plan, I'll be navigating in it for a mate.

When I spoke to him last week he was a bit concerned it might get called off due to lack of entrants......ie financial crisis and not enough people with $$$$ to enter.

Is it still defiitely on in Sep Neville??

For those that like this sort of thing there is also the Condobolin 750 (www.condo750.com) (central west NSW) during the Easter long weekend. Camp on the river and watch everything from 4x4s, buggies, bikes, quads race over 700km in a weekend.

Yes, the dates are all locked in August 1 - 8th,

The course is nearly set, we are heading off again shortly to finalise a few of the bits and pieces.

I can tell you it will be starting in Perth though.

Bundy, if you need more info, check out the Australian Safari web-site.
