Vic Alpine NP - Pinnibar/Pendergast SF

Has anyone been through this area recently (specifically up through Shady Tk, Wheelers Ck Rd, Mt Gibbo Tk, Mt Pinnibar Stoney Ck Tk, Blue Gum Ridge Tk)?

Looking to shoot down for a long weekend subject to weather etc and curious as to condition of tracks and any recommendations on camping spots (camped at Buckwong Ck when last through which was great).

Thanks

Hi,
Drove up Mt Pinnibar from Tom Groggin side last year. Extremely tough going a bit like don't stop till you get to the top. Along the flat bit at the top you can camp on the side of the track in the trees. Absolutely beautiful. Also came from the other end which was better to go down.

We did some of that in January (see my blog)

Tracks were open and clear. Some fresh regrowth on the Mt Gibbo Track will scratch the car a bit but otherwise fine....

Not much camping on the Gibbo Track. We stayed on top of Mt Anderson but were lucky with the weather.
