Hi
Just need to know from people that have recently been on the Yarramunmun, is the
gate at Neriga road end near Tiangara Falls turn off, open or closed?

Hi Paul,
This fire trail has been closed for sometime (it is blocked from the
Nerriga road end) at the instigation of the Shoalhaven Shire Council, citing maintenance costs and legal advice that “developments in that law since 1983 have increased Council’s exposure to liability”.
This track is featured in many 4WD guide books and this was encouraged at the time by the Shoalhaven Shire Council who were promoting it as part of a tourism initiative.
I remain dumb founded by the actions of Shoalhaven Shire Council and have not received any adequate explanation as to why these actions were taken.
