additional frequencies are available for use by VKS-737 and HF-Tel subscribers,
Channel 6: 6796kHz
Channel 7: 10180kHz

Hey, where have you been hiding for the past 6 months! These extra frequencies have been available since Nov 2008.

You had me thinking as just recentlyI had the eprom upgrade put into my NGT and you made me go and
check it and lo and behold they have reinstalled HFOZ and HFRadio Club but no VKS-737 Bugger now I have to send it back .
Thank you Doug for making me
check for the new channel.

G'day Doug,
Is it necessary to have the radio upgraded (no doubt at the cost of my first born child), or can I access these channels simply by pressing the channel buttons on my old Barrett 550?
That's if you know of course..... hahahaha I don't really expect you to know the answers to ALL of my stupid questions.....!!!

At a guess I'd say it's old, so therefore you'll have to get it programmed.... It's not a GARMIN so that's a stab in the dark,
