I keep getting a pop up screen telling me that I have a Private message, but when I click on the envelope, there is no message ???
Any ideas from the team ?

Its the Rudd effect Dunco, you see him pop up and you
check Canberra and he isnt there.
Its been significantly reduced since the swine flu scare.
Seriously, I havent had the problem myself, have you tried the Microsoft leather approach - re-boot? There may be something int he cache thats seeing the message and re-issuing the popup.

Hi Dunco
Must be a message from the off-shore call centres.
My home phone rang a number of times - no-one there - just that background noises that comes from overseas auto-dialling.

That's
the gap caused by the Voice Over Internet Protocol (VOIP) systems they use. It's great because you get a chance to hang up before they can start their speel.

Hi Mick
I have no idea the number of times i have hung up on my little grand children who are learning to ring Grandma. Their irate Mum rings back and i saw i thought it was India calling.
Also Call Centres use automated dialling. If no one is available when you answer there is no-one there at all. They know you are
home and re-dial, which i let go to the answering machine. At least the grandies say something then if i got it wrong, and the call centre staff go away.

Dunco
i had this problem last week. i contacted Damian and he fixed it by logging onto my login details,he said it was a nasty bug in the system and that David was trying to track it down.
maybe try to get someone to MM you and then delete it and see if that works.
MM is on its way from me,cheers.

Hi Dunco,
Thanks for letting us know. There is rather annoying bug in the new message system that needs fixing. In the meantime, just get someone to send you a member message (I can do it this time) and then delete the message - this should clear the cache. We will be working on this today.
Thanks
