Cannot get sound on a 17inch Tv. Believe I have tuned correctly as has been operating for the last 2 years. Could it be a problem with the sould card. As anyone experienced similar problems

Has someone pressed the MUTE button.
Usually sound is easier to get than a picture.
Probably cost more to fix than its worth now.
They dont normally have sound cards like a computer It is usually an integrated throw away motherboard.
My Centrex rubbish TV picture died The tech says I can fix it but a new TV will be cheaper.

Make sure it is on PAL for Australian TV, I know there is a few options (BG, NTSC, PAL) some give picture and no sound or other way round.
