Hi all,
New to this so forgive me if i don't use the right terms or references.
I own a Musso (dont laugh!) it's what i could afford and given the specs very much value for money. It's a 98 3.2 petrol model and automatic.
My question is fuel economy. I see various reports saying the guiness book record holder for deisel and circa 14 kilometers per litre for the version i have. I currently am getting shocking k's per litre. The tank i believe is a 72 litre, on a
well rounded trip i.e town and frewway i get circa 430 - 480 k's per tank!!!! Now for those who want to work it out thats 6.31 kilometers per litre !!!!!
Help please someone ! ( yes it gets regularly serviced )
Thanks in anticipation and excuse an typo's (iv'e had a couple of beers :)

I've seen a similar query somewhere before I feel. Maybe he didn't get the previous replies and reposted - could have been a prepared document pasted into several forums looking for a broad coverage - saves typing it several times.

litres per 100 klms is the correct way to measure fuel economy.....
I know we all USED to use
miles per gallon, but that was a long time ago.... and I'm showing my age, but I still prefer MPG!

Am I missing something ?
The diesel is fuel efficient.
The petrol isn't.
He has a petrol.

The answer to this may have been posted prviously but to help rather than rumble.... I also have this unit and if I run it on non premium fuel as
well as some premium brands then I'll get approx 480k's from the tank but if I run it on optimax or synergy then its more like 530-550 per tank and that is driving every day to and from work approx 60k's per day in dare I say it .........
