Hey Tazbaz
Drop the Women from that comment and you are totally right...
I nearly got cleaned up only last friday by a stressed parent picking up their kids at school... Brand new Prado - Black and beautiful but hey it was a MALE driver who made no apology for nearly running me over at the pedestrian crossing...
I am yet to find a parent in a school area at pick up time who is NOT stressed.
** A note to all parents out there who drive their kids to and from school in their fourbys... being bigger does NOT mean you can steal my park or barge my small (town driving car) out of the way
Its a Jungle out there....

Why are more people not walking??
Granted I live 4 doors from my daughter's school.... BUT, I see parents who I KNOW live within walking distance, who DON'T work (i know cos they are the ones on every committee and barely leave the school) and yet they not only drive down my street, but often park on the wrong side of the road.
We have
parking on only one side of our street at school times... WHY ...because it isn't very wide and we have heaps of kids often walking on the road as there is no footpaths, so winter is worse.
What makes me so angry everyday, is everyone is just so in a hurry and only concerned about getting THEIR child from school, without giving thought to the safety of OTHER ppls children.
Oh, and approx 70% drive some type of 4by, not that I think the type of vehicle matters - Its how fast its driven and how much respect their is for the road rules around school zones!!
