Must be the day for it..
After several years of hanging around as a visitor, today I finally got off my backside and became a member.
Over the years I've had some great advice form this site and now I'm looking forward to contributing a little more.
I'm still 20 years away form retirement... unless our esteemed pollies continue to keep moving the finish line. I can only dream at this point of doing the
grey nomad thing... but in September I'm off with the family for nearly 4 weeks covering a dash through the
corner country and the
Plenty Highway before some time around Alice and back
home via lake Eyre.
I'm sure between now and September I'll have plenty more questions...
Cheers, Mark

How about if I really stretch the friendship and point out I drive a Land Rover ?
I know that's bound to bring a few out of the woodwork ;)

Kev, mate
are you an arsonist????????
You want to burn my Coopers and now one of Britains finest.
I would imagine that you had better look out that we dont burn you on the stake, up at StGeorge pal, LOL.
By then you may be over your teams loss in State of Origin, if not then we can help put you out of your misery by burning you on the stake.
Suffer.

Welcome aboard Mark. It's a great space this place. I'm sure you'll enjoy it. You'll love the
corner country,
Innamincka and the
Coopers Creek as
well.
Cheers. Mick

Yeah, it's kind of tempting with the 42% discount at the moment. Dunno, maybe I'll wait 'til David turns 98 or something! :)
