4wd tracks cenral coast nsw

Some friends and I want to hire a camper trailer at Gosford for a weekend to try it out. Does any one know of some good tracks around the Gosford , Newcastle area or a bit further north, that would be of use to us. We considered the Watagans, however I believe that this area is fairly easy and not a real test for a 4wd, and we are not interested in dragging it over stockton beach. If you have some extensive knowledge of these area or are in a club up there you advice will be appreciated. Di
