Hi Mark
It all depends on where and when you want to travel.

Far North Desert Country Our Winter Months
Flinders Ranges Spring
West Coast Winter/Springs
Riverland Year Round
South East Warmer months of the year

The above will depend on the weather conditions at the time of travel.
The months that I have stated are ideal camping conditions, but many places will be year round visiting

Cheers

Stephen

Hi Stephen,

Thanks for that.
We did the North Desert Country last September which worked out well.
This time we were looking at doing the Coast & Central areas.
thanks,
Mark

Hi Mark,
For better timing, what activities are you planning and where in particular do you wish to travel. This would be then better in working out the time of the year.

Cheers

Stephen

late winter to early spring is the best time to tour SA...the rest if the time it is hot & dry...

for summer/autumn, think Murray River & boats

Try to fit Arkaroola in the Norther Flinders ranges into you program any time other than summer should be fine.

Don't miss Eyre peninsula. We did it late March early April. Blue skies and moderate temps. Sensational area. Cheers.
