Can anyone give me some pointers on removing the back seats (second row, not third) to make some more luggage space. The brackets are covered by plastic and I can't see any way of removing these covers without damage. TIA

The plastic covers are snapped on. A bit of careful coaxing gets them off again.
They are held on by a tab on each side, between the two slots.
I removed
mine OK without damage, then built a flat floor for the second row area and bolted this down to the second row
seat mounts via the rearmost of the two bolts on each outboard bracket.

Sorry Bob,
I gave instructions for the plastic covers on the FRONT seats.
For the REAR, they are also held on by a tab on each side - just slip your fingers underneath at the front corners and lift outwards slightly.

That is, with the middle seats folded forward into the storage position.
