We have cooked a great roast on our cobb but any hints and timing for cooking bread, pizza and any other ideas would be great. Do you need you need the frying pan sold as an extra or could you use any thing? Is the cookbook worth the extra?

Pizza takes about 10 mins using 3 beads...,but you should use the pizza tray rather than the roast tray.....damper took me about 15 mins using the heat left from cooking a roast lamb meal last week...The frypan is a lot heavier than the roast tray and is good for steak and bacon and eggs....cookbook is good for a firelighter...dont buy itI have been told to try the new Bostik firelighters rather than the jiffy ones...will get some today and see what diff is.

The Cobb chap who answers the phone himself told me not to buy the cookbook - apparently written by some trendy and is useless. I believe they are working on bringing out a real cookbook sometime.
