Hi Kev
All the walks we took were easy and fairly level; the longest being
the loop track which starts soon after you enter the park; before the
camp grounds. There was also bush
ranger history sites which we didn't explore. The
cave hide out is no longer accessible to visitors due to safety issues. Like most parks, walking is safe and easy on the listed trails, but anything else for very experienced hikers only.
The people next to us didn't have internet and tried to book using the phone number and even tried ringing Parks office on other numbers, but the whole phone system must be on office hours only. Their travelling companions had internet and booked for them. With internet access at
Injune, booking the day before was easy. Overcrowding not a problem.
The Dargonelly
campground is a huge flat area with no bollards; that being a very pleasant surprise as some of the
camp grounds with bollards give us grief with our long rig.
Enjoy the park
