Ways to test GPS

Had a good chance to put the Nuvi 765 to an unusual test on Saturday, it recorded the fastest speed I have ever had on a GPS , No... it was not in the Troopy, It recorded 190 Kph , I was in that little Jabiru 120 again , the flight was from the Ultralight strip near Noonamah to Batchelor Airstrip, the distance was 61.3 Klms, 31:19 mins, Av speed was 117 Kph , that included taxiing both ends, the recorded track looks good overlayed on Google Earth too.

I wish , I wish, the Rego is cheaper , the price is cheaper, but yes it's great to get these little flights , the Nuvi performed good, battery lasted all the way,

Gotta say this though, for blokes my age that dancer on the right is not doing the old ticker any good....

I dont think it does the ticker any good for any male from the age of 10 and up. Better go home for lunch to see if there is one of her in my lounge room

You need to trade that troppy in on a 4800 Patrol Doug , cheaper to register than the plane and can give a higher GPS reading.

One thing about the 765's in our family is that they keep saying "Speed camera ahead 60kmh ", they say that about 4 times as you approach a traffic light - where the camera's are set to 80kmh , most annoying !

Gotta agree with you about the dancer though !

Robin
Are you telling me the Nissan is cheaper than $110.00 per year to register, That's what the Jabiru costs, includes 3rd Party,
