Kia Pregio inconsistant idle speed + hard to start

Well folks, it has taken me a long time to get to the bottom of this problem and for the benefit of all members whom run diesels here is what happened.
I visited several "experts", they looked, sniffed, listened and scratch their head.
A friend, Mark from Injection Perfection, suggested that i should show the problem to Mario at B & M Injection, I did that and was impressed with the logical no BS approach in diagnosing the problem so I booked the van in.
Mario serviced the fuel injector pump and found that the drive shaft seal had gone hard and was allowing air past it, he also changed several other parts to rebuild the pump to better than original condition.
A little hick up, Mario could not get parts out of Melbourne due to a public holiday so he called me early to let me know.
The repair was done efficiently and at very reasonable cost and the engine is operating well.
A job well done deserves recognition so thank you to you Mark and Mario.
