Hi Guys,

I went up from Woods Point on Sat and there was snow cover all around Matlock etc. I got bogged in the snow a couple of times with mud tyres and no chains. But it was fantastic fun!!

Warm, Wet, Soft and icey, and sucked!

There was no way over the top, there were squillions of winch cable marks in the snow just past where I got stuck... The snow wasnt like before, it was really damp, and turned to ice in no time after you walked on it a few times....

Oh well, Garys shovel got a workout...

A couple of those winch cable marks were mine!! But I was able to make it over the top though.

Dodo,

I didn't see the hut. Was it at the summit? If it was it was a little foggy on Sat. And a winch was definitly the go on Sat. Would of been stuck without it!
