Murray,

Are you going to give details or do we have to guess??

Cheers Kev

Kev
We had a booking for 3 nights over Easter, on arrival they had no knowledge of the booking but did get us 2 sites next to each other which was cramped but ok. On returning from a days touring on the 3rd day my site had been rebooked and their van was parked 3 feet from the camper trailor which was with me gerrrr. The park owner seemed to have chip on his shoulder so left and went to the show grounds. We were only using the park for a base as we touring the area, so the show grounds would have been ok anyway. Ran into other people who were also put off by the owner. Don't ask for much but was peed off.

I've stayed there several times and found it quite good. Last time I was there (Jan/2010)

I think you need to further explain your comment ???

G'day Murray, wasn't being critical mate, just surprised as we have enjoyed previous stays there. Last time there the regular manager was away in hospital with serious health issues, and a temporary caretaker was looking after it, and struggling, so may have changed hands since late January.
It is only small and has many permanents connected with the Ulan coal mines.
Hope your trip continues with better memories.

Cheers mate.

Fred.
