g'day all,
I was thinking of heading over to the drover's camp fire weekend at Boggabri next weekend, i just thought i would ask and see if anyone had been before and what was it like, this is it's fifth year running, so it can't be to bad on the organisers side.
Cheers
John.

Not sure of the event but there is some nice camping along the river banks on the Gunnedah side of Boggabri.

Gday Trevor,
From what i have read and heard on the radio there is camp oven cooking ,bush poetry, market stalls. ferret races, etc .And they said unpowered sites are $8 and for people with medical conditions they have powered sites for $16, i think the money goes to charity because it is run by rotary from what i recall.I haven't camped on the river there but driving through there it looks like a good area to drop a line in.
Cheers,
John.
