Heard today from a woman I work with that Mt Augustus Resort is up and running again (she stayed there last week for a couple of days. Being managed by an Italian couple.
Also told from another informed source that the bar is still closed and no Gas is available but ULP & diesel fuel is again available.

According to the Upper Gascoyne Shire the 'Licence to Operate' will be issued in a couple of weeks.
Unofficial camping is currently taking place. This information recv'd from the shire 1230wst 04may2010.

I'm no longer as bad as I used to be, had the op on my nose so I breath much better plus I bought Kerry some better ear plugs. LOL

You need an extremely vivid imagination to call it a Resort, based on my short stay there.

Jack got to agree with you there that's why the word Resort is in quotations. When I stayed there in 06 that was what they were calling it.
