i rang around today to get a price for gas conversion on a pajero.
i had a quote from one of our customers but just checking if his price was good.
i rang 2 local companys they both said only use injection system and both were $4900 and $4950.i rang a melbourne company and they to were $4900.
so i guess the quote i got from our customer was very good.$3600 for the injection system.
it certainly pays to price around.
cheers.

Even at $3600 you need to do some Kms to justify the price, have seen non injection systems advertised in Adelaide for older vehicles for $250 installed, some time ago $0 after Government rebate..

the $250 quoted is usually the amount you will pay after you get the rebate.

Jim,

$3600 is a bargain for injected LPG.

You'll pay only $1600 after the Govt rebate. The Petrol Paj is probably $5000 cheaper than a diesel, so you're $3400 in front to begin with and from then on you've got a Petrol Paj that is cheaper to run than the Diesel.

By the way, that Champix is amazing. I've been off the mongrel fags for two weeks and can't believe how easy it is.

Cheers,

Jim.

Hi Guys
there are 3 types of LPG systems and depends on the vehicle you have
1 the old type of lpg like the carbearter
2 the new lpg vapour inj
3 the very new liquid LPG inj
not all vehicles have been programme for liquid inj
their will be some time before thiss happens
