Old mate in the video says (more or less) "This is the towing point, that's where we have been towing from and it's still attached."
But is it a rated snatch point?..... that will possibly be the "get-out-of-jail-free" card for Toyota. Much more force involved with snatching than towing.
And as for the video quality..... for amateur video, it's not too bad really. Not everyone is Cecile B. DeMille! LOL.....

Maybe the important part was not on the video like how steep an angle they were snatching over and how fast they Snatched it and infact did they use a snatch strap or was it something solid.
I had a Prado like that one and snatch several others from difficult situations and they are strong enough if everything is used correctly.
Maybe a light tug backwards may have been the better option but without more info its a bit hard to judge but I very much doubt it was a problem with the vehicle.

That's why ARB and similar shops sell Bridles for use with cars like Prados.
A Bridle is attached to both from two points to spread the load of the snatch recovery. Damage to the front end of Prados from snatch recovery off only one recovery point has happened a number of times in Australia, hence why off road shops sell Bridles.
However the video is a very graphic example of what can happen when you do not use a bridle !

I think I will invest in one just to be on the safe side, cant say I have seen one but presume its like the letter Y, the two top points connect to either side to the recovery points of the bogged vehicle, the bottom part of the Y to the tow vehicle ?? Have I got that right ?? as below Regards Steve M
