Magellan 315 Firmware update

I just downloaded the Firmware update for my GPS 315 and tried to install it. The GPS unit became locked in 'update mode', and then became completely dead. I rang Magellan in
Perth and they advised me that if you jump too many upgrades at once you can have problems. I have to send the dead GPS to
Perth for them to resurrect it.
Moral of story is let sleeping dogs lie.Bob

My Magellan 330 also froze one day for no reason at all.I was demonstrating it to as mate outside the house and then cam in and out it down next to the radio. When I looked again after about five minutes it was Dead. I wonder if the magnet in the radio had something to do with it? It was only two months old. Magellan however replaced it FOC which is good service.

www.yahoogroups.com and search for magellan theres a 315 users group on there, they will know.
