Do's any one know of a web site that gives fuel prices for each town.

Nothing comprehensive Dave.
In WA we have fuel watch, but it only takes in towns ans not the out of the way fuel outlets.
For national cover, motormouth.com.au covers cities and i think major centres, but not much beyond that.

I just took a look. Motormouth does have prices for a number of rural towns, but just a price (whether lowest or average is not clear). It does not list the prices per different outlet in these towns.

Motormouth seems to be the better one, As you say I think it is an average in that particular town. We had a pretty good one on this site but now it just seems to give an average in each state.
