Hi all, could anyone that knows for sure tell me whether or not the new 9555 Iridium phone can be operated with a Telstra sim ( Global roaming and 1900 enabled) in the same way that it would with the 9505a and 9500 Iridium phones. Cheers. Kanga.

Yes definatley. I have a 9555 that operates fine on my post paid, global roaming enabled telstra SIM.

Thanks Andrew, just needed to know for sure before picking one up, I will check it with my SIM just to be sure, thought I might have to get a second hand 9505a for a while, they stopped making that model last year. Cheers, Kanga.
