That's a weird one! We just found out that our local Rays Outdoors in Erina has been taken over by BCF!! No more footwear and several other items that Rays sell but BCF don't!!

I thought SuperCheap actually Owns BCF as well.

the aquisition of Rays Outdoors by the I wou;Supercheap Group has only just (earlier this week) happened. I think you will find in the coming months Rays and BCF will combine alot of products and the introduction of the SCA brand of equipment into Rays. Hopefully prices will come down due to the increased buying power (but dont count on it)
Did they say why they couldnt sell the slides?
it may be a waeco thing not a rays thing, might sound strange but sometimes companies will restrict sales of certain things and give exclusivity of items to certain stores, mainly to stop price haggling and to help maintain profits margins.
I used to work at a electronics retailer, we had exclusive Marantz audio equipment, no one else in town could sell marantz, this way it relied on the salesperson to sell the equipment and the brand recognition to promote itself, this way if a customer decides a marantz product is superior they have little choice but to buy off you, then you dont have to discount because the store up the road is $20 cheaper. that way an $800 amplifier stays an $800 amplifier because there is no local competition.
I wouls encourage everyone to buy from Supercheap Auto, BCF and Rays Outdoors as much as possible and spread the word.....im a shareholder..lol!
