Seen a ad on telly for insurance that said if they couldnt beat certain companies insurance premiums they would give you $50 , so out interest I rang them as I was pretty sure they wouldnt beat my company as I had 65% no claim bonus , multi policy discounts and 20% discount years if insurance and I also am a gold member !
My current company heads the list of the most complained about companies on the " Not Good Enough " website and also was featured on the Today Tonight show about how the were ripping off policy holders who were claiming against them so I am very concerned about being with them ( 33 years ! )
On a Toyota Hilux SR5 Twin Cab Turbo and Toyota Echo the price was $ 349.97 cheaper than my current insurer .
The company is currently 2010 Insurer of the year ! The girl on the ad is the French Girl " Michelle " .
I guess many others have got insurance with this company , my question is are you happy with them ? Is there any thing to be aware of ?
Regards
Ken

You are talking about Bujee Direct I take it
I did their online quote and they wouldnt touch my fourby because of the list of accessories.
Didnt even get to the price page on the quote.
Always look to see who is the underwriter as Suncorp and I had a falling out over my Cruiser and the conditions of the house insurance.
I recently insured my new house with APIA who are actually owned by Suncorp apparently but have much more adaptable policies.
Any company is only as good as their claim satisfaction anyway.
AAMI seem to be quite good here but in NZ, before I left, no one would touch them as it appeared the assesors were paying you out of their own pockets they were that mean with claims.

My cruiser similar to yours and a 'fair' list of accessories and I have been insured with them for a number of years and had one claim....no hassle at all.... need to persevere a bit I think.
Cheers,
Mark

Hi Ken
I have used them before (budget direct - don't be scared to say the name). Never had any dramas over the few years I had with them. I had one small claim with them and it was so easy - go to one repairer of your choice (not three) and the repairer takes photos and sends in quote for approval.
Only reason I am not with them now is I
shop around to
check prices every year, and after a coupla years their prices crept up (like all the other insurance companies) and I am now with Allianz (who use the same underwriter).
Maybe this year I will go back to them, depending on whether my current insurer decides to charge more for a vehicle that is a year older & depreciated `$3k...
Don't be fooled into thinking that because you stay loyal to one company, they will return the favour with so-called "multiple policy, been a member for x years etc". You have seen now that, no matter how many years you are with one company, you are just a policy number.

“Maybe this year I will go back to them, depending on whether my current insurer decides to charge more for a vehicle that is a year older & depreciated `$3k...”
As a general rule of thumb...As vehicles age the cost of insurance as a percentage of the value of the car will go up.
