SunDanzer Fridges

Has anyone had anything to do with the US made SunDanzer 12/24v fridges? Their specs are pretty impressive i.e. Uses just 9.6 Ahrs per day as fridge at 32Deg C on 12v. 50 litre model can run on just a 50 Watt solar panel. Very thick insulation, and Danfoss compressor I think. Similar price to Waeco too.

Rather ordinary specs. Not as good as local brands

OK, let us know which local brands can operate as fridge on just a 45Watt solar panel, or only 9.6 Ahrs per 24 hours. Certainly not any Engels, Waeco's best is 20 Ahrs/24hrs (in 50 Litre), Evacool use Danfoss compressor, but their insulation is only half as thick so no way can it compete. If you know of one better, lets see it !

They look pretty good with 110mm of insulation. I think the only Aussie made ones to equal that are Trailblazers with their optional 125mm thickness, standard 75mm, same as the Explorers. Most Engels, Evakools etc are 40mm to 45mm insulation.

The height will put many off as a travel fridge, otherwise the specs are impressive!

Even the Trailblazer doesn't come anywhere near.

60 litre fridge (125 mm insulation) 16.7 amphrs per day (25C) ,24.3 amphrs per day (35C) and 35 amphrs per day (45C)
