All, we spotted the attached little fella getting hassled by the local maggie hood yesterday. So.. to the resue - coaxed him down with a plateful of seed and eventually got close enough to cover him with my diving prawn net.
And the.. he monstered the seed for 3 hours - poor little sod was starving - I guess he wouldn't have lasted another night.
Problem - we've borrowed a small, but too small, cage from the vet which is fine for the mo, but we're off to the deserts in under 2 weeks. We've got neighbours who'll look after him while we're away, and we're trying to find his owners, but the vet's cage is too small for a longish stint if we don't have a result over the next week.
Has anyone close to
Perth got a reas. size cage we could borrow pls?

Cheers.

Hi
John,
If you are SOR we can assist, the cage isn't all that flash though it should do the job.

Poor little sod. If we were a bit closer, if you couldn't find the owners, we would gladly take him off your hands. Miss having a cockatiel around the place.
