Has anyone else had the misfortune to own one of these car fridges. WA built and now gone broke (no guesses why) all the promo's indicated they were more than comparable with any other fridge on the market. Have spent $120 on upgrading to a twin compressor, but still only freezes on nights when things would nearly freeze outside the fridge anyway! I think Eva Kool have bought the esky side of Supa Kool, and have offered to upgrade ours, but for $900 including freight. Seems a bit rich compared to a new fridge, anyone have another idea, and does anyone own a Supa Kool they are happy with?

I had major problems too with my SupaKool when fitted with the earlier compressor made by Micro compressor's QLD (Gone bust now). I too opted for the Danfoss upgrade that Evakool now offer (cost me $500 also). Very happy with the Fridge now and get much lower temps and 2-3 days from a fully charged battery.
