It's our last sleep in frigid
Perth. Off to Sandstone/
Wiluna tomorrow; then out to
Well 23 via Gunbarrel and Eagle Hwys.
You little ripper!
Would appreciate any last minute reports on these tracks and the eastern Talawana.
Cheers.

Cheers. Mick.

Thanks Mick, looking forward to
the desert scenery.
What's the condition of the vegetation out there - it was supposed to have had good rains earlier in the year?
Cheers.

hi
john
dont want to be a kill-joy
dont kid yourself about the cold as your going to equally cold
places the average temp for last 7days in
perth 2.8deg am/ last 7 days in
wiluna am 3.0deg
last time i was in
sandstone /
wiluna area it was minus 5 both mornings woke up
and the ground around the tent was pure white with ice on everything and have experienced same on csr/gunbarrel the difference is
it can be much warmer after the day progresses10am--- until the sun starts to go down
but you'll enjoy yourself as your on holidays it's fun getting out and lighting the fire when its so bleeding cold
i used to poke some small kindlings under the front /rear of 4wd to keep it getting damp overnight and makes starting that early fire more of an easy task cheers and have a great time

Hi MC; am just back in sunny
Perth.
Yes, it was cold out there - ice on everything first night at
Sandstone. Got a bit better further out but was wearing the uggies all trip. Had great fires every night so that was good.
Fantastic trip.
Cheers.
