Gooday,
Sincere apologies Fred, I was looking on the forum for office details in Alice to get a permit and obviously unknowingly fired off the question.
Cheers, Boroma604.

Gday Ma & Pa,

We have had a lot of rain recently and a lot of it has been out to the west.
This is what I found on the BOM Site

Kintore had 34.0mm in May
0.8mm in June
70.0mm in July
0.0 in August so far, but looking at the weather map they could be in for some more.

Families good thanks....leaving for WA in 4 weeks.

Cheers
Hairy

Gooday Hairy,
hopefully you will have missed all the rain by then and things might have dried out a tad. Mate and myself managed to fit "in between" the rain drops and had a good trip to Rudall River and Karijini.
Where you headed? Going through the centre?
regards

All the best in your new home.... Bit different to Alice... So you will have more time to explore some of the tracks out there as you won't have so far to travel... lol... (:
Seasons will be a bit different too..

Gday,
Although ist probably best to get permits for the NT side I think you will find it is not compulsory if your just travelling through and staying to common areas.

Cheers

Back again Hairy,
Thanks for that and going to the effort for us.
Thanks Fred, yep most permits obtained but the private road down to Blackstone.
We'd love to drive along the ranges just to see them up close, not doing any harm.
Hairy, does this mean you've sold your house?
Take care, safe travels Ma & Pa.
