G'day Putrol,

The Licola-Jamieson Rd is now closed. Mansfield Shire have (since last year I think) gazetted the road as a public road closure similar to the DSE/Parks gates/roads. Fairly hefty fines if caught out without a permit.

Permits are available after completing a bit of paperwork with the Shire but I think you have to be in a club on a club event - and the club has to be affiliated with Vic 4WD or similar.

Be worth checking with the Mansfield Shire as to where the closure commences to save any grief.

The Wellington Shire don't close the road (as yet) so we can get to the Shire boundary to play in the snow...I reckon there'd be a bit after the weekend!

No worries - we get a few calls at work about whether the road is open - as in closed due to snow - as it isn't well advertised this side of the hill that the Mansfield Shire close their side. All I have spoken to don't know about the closure.

Might be snow up there now after the weekend rain???

Was there on Saturday, There was enough to park the car on & thats it. There was barely any on the road itself, not even enough to throw at someone.
