Have you had it serviced? Get injectors and pump done, will cost around $1500-2000...

and WTF you need more than 120 for anyway?

130kmh......sheeiiiiitt......i thought that was going pretty hard for a nissan diesel with 305000 ks on it.........the trucks only been driven to the moon, I guess you want to drive it back mate....well get the injectors done and service the hyperdrive you might just be able to get her .2 or .3 past light speed

First rule of repair is always start with the basics. Change the oil and oil filter before you get the injectors done - that may fix the black smoke. One of the trade offs for the many advantages of diesel is lack of performance. I have a Prado TD and compared to the petrol it's slow after 110 but it never uses more than 12l/100 and will build up to at least 160 given enough road.

Just a thought - have you changed the air cleaner. Diesels must have clean air. If it is blocked up it can cause it to blow black smoke and will be down on power - reduced air flow will reduce power

If you really want to look after your diesel then you shouldn't be revving it over 3000 for any extended periods if you want it to last a long time.

How many revs is your car doing when you are pushing the throttle three inches past the fire wall to get over 130kph. Maybe you should do a V8 conversion. I built a few that would rev at 6000 all day long.
In all seriousness if you want to be doing over 130kph maybe you need to be looking at another vehicle .There are 4wd vehicles that will do that speed constantly but be prepared to mortgage your house to get one.
