hey guys first post on here great site helped me a few times.

when i was a bit younger we used to go camping in what i think is mount mee state forest in a little brown shack with a whole bunch of friends. it was a 5 minute walk from another bare campsite along blue creek too diana's bath then if you ventured us the creek at the other end you ended up at the bottom of a house perched on the top of a rock face that had a big staircase leading up to the top of it (it was always deserted wasnt a fully finished house from what i can remember). i have been told by a few people that you cant stay at the shack anymore as a mining company is taking over the area.
so what im getting at is does anyone know of it and if so how to get there and camp there as it would be great to relive some memories with a few friend.

here is a link of some pics of it i found if it helps its pics 5 and 6
Site Link

any help is greatly appreciated thanks guys

You can't drive there anymore, though i think you can walk there. There is now a big gate crossing the road 'for nature conservation' .I am not sure whether parks did it, or whether the big power company that has a site just near the gate put it it there, but you can't drive there.

Like I've said, if you were willing to walk then you would be able to get there. I am not sure what has happened to the old shack though, but it may be part of the power company's land.

Diana's bath is still there. However you can no longer drive all the way down to down to it.

You can access it from the Mt Byron/Mt Mee side and park here then walk in:

Camping is available at the 2 camping areas in the Mt Mee state forest.
