Does anyone have any knowledge of these? I bought it some years ago at a market, no manufacturer's details available, although it did include a very cheaply printed and hard to read recipe book - with very basic instructions. I've found mentions on the net of similar items, but nothing definite. I made some scones with it, on the electric stove top - not a great success, but I think they were too close to the heat source, so burned on the bottom. The base is open in the centre - should the shallow "moat" in the base have water in it? Its very shallow, so any water would evaporate very quickly. I'd love to take the gadget away with us - Irish Soda Bread would solve the fresh bread problem - but would really appreciate any information/suggestions/hints. Thanks, everyone.
