Thinking of getting midge screens in a new poptop van. Are they worth the extra cost? Do they reduce airflow? Thanks Peter.

Hi Peter, thanks for asking the question about midgie screens,I was going to ask the same thing! (great minds think alike). Midgies love me but don't bother hubby,I don't think that fair either!
I see from another post that Bunnings sell midgie screens,I didn't know that,I will be checking that out.

Bunnings have it its micro screen in rolls, it may take a bit to work out the best way to get it cut off the roll. A bit of research may be required to get the best out of you dollar , once you start looking at it you will know what i mean.

We have a 30-second tent with midge proof netting and spent a couple of months on
Cape York in it. I found it airless and suffocating and am so thankful our camper trailer doesn't have this mesh on it. i would rather just put some Bushman's on before I go to bed and benefit from some airflow.
