Gibb River Road Feedback

Will 76, yes a camper trailer would get there but just take it easy as the road as very rough, we gave Surveyors pool a miss but heard it was a great spot, if you do go remember to pick up fire wood when you first get on the track its the only place you are allowed, good camping plenty of shade, if you arrive say midday, go for a walk to the first falls have a wash the next day go to the falls easy walk, we did early in the morning, left a 6am and was back at the camp round lunch.

Unless you are continuing on the more adventurous track as Will did, there is no need to take a camper all the way up to the Falls campground and back again. We found one day adequate to walk and see the falls with time to spare, leaving the caravan at the King Edward River Crossing campground which is just beautiful alongside a nice pool of the river. When we were there pretty well everyone left their campers and did a day trips. We planned to camp overnight at the Falls but found we had done it all so went 'home' to my very favourite campground of the Kimberley trip.
